ETSAKOR DIALECT:
Erler ni ugwa ower or vheno akatsi, orni erler li lor ye apfer.
TRANSLATION:
The day that the limb disappoints a horse, that same day, he goes home.
MEANING:
A horse is renown for not sleeping. Instead of sleeping, it only rests, standing on its limbs! So, its limbs are not only important for the many activities and journeys that it shall complete but also relevant for resting while standing!
Consequently, whenever its limbs are damaged through injury or infection, it either dies or it is killed. This inevitable end becomes necessary because the horse can not survive without any of its limbs.
LIFE APPLICATION:
In life, some people occupy social, economic, political or religious position; class, status or office. They could be rich, famous, powerful and well connected. It doesn't matter whether or not they are qualified.
They become who they are, by climbing the ladder of life provided by the influences of their benefactors. Consequently, whenever they cease to enjoy the support of their patrons and benefactors, they suddenly fall from grace to grass!
