CAUTION:

  Human beings are very curious or inquisitive about the secrets of the future or about their lives. And dreams readily provide man an opportunity to get answers to some of the questions that bother them in their everyday life. Many people are desperate to know what the future holds for them in terms of prosperity or wealth, fame or power, health or peace, life or death, fruitfulness or childlessness etc.

  The Scriptures of the Bible says; The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belongs to us... Though, dreams are also a medium of revelation, we are warned in Ecclesiastes that: He that increases knowledge increases sorrow. Therefore, moderation shall be our watchword. One must carefully filter out the seeds from the chaff. Not all dreams are relevant.

  Now, be cautious of who you discuss your dreams with. You may not know your enemies. Recall how Joseph's brothers hated him when he told them about his dreams. Read this in Genesis 37: 5 - 10. Some humans are possessed by very strong spirits. When such people are fueled by the negative energies of envy, jealousy, anger, hatred, etc; they may haunt their victims and deny them peace.

  Do you still remember what happened in the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ? Precisely, Matthew 2: 1 - 2. Three wise men who saw the star of the new born baby Jesus, traced him to Jerusalem. The implications of this is that human beings have both terrestrial (physical) life and extraterrestrial (spiritual) life. And that the star of some people persons appear or are visible in the sky to them who have certain spiritual or magical powers! This implies that it is possible for spiritually powerful enemies to monitor victims.

  Therefore, one needs to be careful in discussing his or her dreams. You maybe advised to discuss such matters (if need be) only with those who exercise spiritual authority over them. They maybe leaders in prayers, religious teachers, spiritual father, spiritual guide

  /ETSAKOR PROVERBS ETSAKOR DIALECT: Orere khor ghi orya le emale di okotor ukpade. TRANSLATION: A stranger does not eat with the host to the bottom of the bowl. MEANING: One who is invited to a meal or dinner often eats cautiously or carefully. LIFE APPLICATION:   In different aspects of our social life, every society has codes of behaviour expected of individuals. In the work place there are ethics of standard behaviour that govern each trade or practice. Certain behaviour of some individuals, for example, if not checked, may fall short of the required level of decorum.   Similarly, when people gather in social events such as marriage ceremonies or dinners, there is a standard of behaviour expected of those who are invited. No matter how hungry you are when invited to dinner, your behaviour must not portray you as a hungry man.
